What is Hotel Management?
Hotel/ Hospitality Management as a field requires aspirants to possess good communication skills as well as an impressive personality. Hotel / Hospitality Management Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are eligible to pursue a Hotel/ Hospitality course offered at the UG level if they have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board with passing marks. Many colleges also list an additional eligibility criteria stating that it is mandatory for students to have cleared English as a core subject of study if they want to pursue a hotel/ hospitality management course. On the other hand, to pursue a PG course in hotel/ hospitality management candidates need to be graduates. Here, aspirants who possess a graduation degree in hotel/ hospitality management are preferred. Apart from this, some colleges also list eligibility criteria that lists that candidates should secure atleast 55% marks in their graduation to be eligible to secure admission in PG level courses offered by them in the field of hospitality management.

A front office manager also needs to coordinate between the housekeeping department as well as the food and beverage department from time to time to ensure that requests made by guests are fulfilled on time.
Housekeeping Manager: Individuals working on this job profile are responsible for ensuring that the entire hotel premises, right from the guest rooms, banquet halls, meeting rooms as well as the reception area, is clean and well maintained.
