Recipe - Chocolate Cupcake


Enjoy our healthy chocolate cupcake that can be easily made with simple everyday ingredients. This cupcake recipe will be your new favourite. Preparation Time: 30 minutes Cooking Time: 20 minutes Serves: 1


INGREDIENTS

  • 35g Flour

  • 1 tbsp Caster Sugar/Honey 

  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar         

  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil       

  • 1/8 tsp Baking Soda        

  • 1/8 tsp / A Pinch of Salt   

  • 1 tbsp Dutch Cocoa Powder

  • 3 tbsp Water

  • 1/4 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar

  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla Essence   

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Preheat the oven at 180˚C (OTG Mode: upper rod + lower rod+ fan). 

  • Grease tin with oil, cocoa powder and keep aside. 

  • In a bowl mix together oil, water, vinegar and vanilla essence. In another bowl, sift together flour, caster sugar, baking soda, brown sugar, cocoa powder and salt.

  • Add wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix to form a batter.

  • Now pour the batter in a lined tin and bake at 180˚C (OTG Mode: lower rod) for around 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted at the center comes out clean. 

You can multiply the quantity of the ingredients with the number of cupcakes you wish to bake.

Assembly:  Demold the cupcake and trim off the done (if formed). Pipe whipped cream frosting on top. Add cocoa nibs and mint leaf.
